Karma Remedy : Thinking Fast and Slow, System 1 and System 2
/Economics Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman’s book Thinking Fast and Slow is a summary of Kahneman’s research on cognitive bias. The central theme of the book is that there are two modes of thinking, System 1, instinctive and emotional, and System 2 more deliberate and logical. His contention is that most people put too much confidence in System 1.
One of the things I have attempted to demonstrate is that Astrology should not be seen as some mysterious and metaphysical subject that we can choose to believe in or not. As you learn the astrological principles it should become clear that Vedic Astrology is the language of life and nature, much like Kahneman’s research .

The head (Rahu) is the doorway to this world. When our heads fall off in Ketu dasha planetary periods, the lines blur between the physical and metaphysical world, as do the blocks (Rahu) that keep past-life memories and experiences (Ketu) from spilling over and merging into the current life. Ketu planetary periods are most inexplicable and indescribable because we no longer know where the present life begins and the past life ends. As the boundaries between the physical and spiritual world disappear, there is much confusion and anxiety, but also a potential for total freedom.
